Client Requirements:
SM5 were contracted to carry out the design and refurbishment of this popular Winchester coffee shop. The Square is situated right in the heart of Winchester a historical city, and SM5 had to navigate many restrictions over access etc. The Square occupies a beautiful spot just off the high street where customers can sit outside and enjoy views of the cathedral. This was an internal refurbishment of a really popular coffee shop so we needed to ensure it was completed to our usual high standard and in good time so that we didn't deprive the people in Winchester of The Square's great coffee!
Types of Work Completed:
- Full interior design package
- Full internal refurbishment of the ground floor café
- Full refurbishment of the external courtyard.
- Design, build and installation of bespoke joinery banquet seating and custom made shelving and storage units to realise the client's design vision.
- Installation of bespoke front bar and display cabinets.
- Replacement of the lighting throughout
- Renovation of the beautiful, existing parquet flooring The Square already had.
- Full decoration throughout all levels.
