Client Requirements:
SM5 have successfully delivered a refurbishment for Peter Marsh Consulting and The Henley College - fitting out 3 floors of learning space for the college’s T Level students. Whilst keeping the college semi-operational, SM5 Developments carried out an extensive strip out and fit out during the 2023 summer shut down. The project was awarded to SM5 Developments as a design & build contract with SM5 responsible for further developing the design brief developed by PMC.
Works Include:
- Extensive strip out and demolition works
- Upgrade of services including new A/C, ventilation and power
- The preparation and decoration of all walls new and old
- New ceilings - MF and laying grid to all areas
- Reconfiguring of classrooms and installation of glazing to create lighter learning spaces
- Installation of new flooring
- New wall and floor finishes
- Forming new structural openings
- Feature finishes in all areas
- Fire stopping works
- Install of new door-set and steel car ramp to allow for vocational engineering classroom
