Client Requirements:
SM5 Developments Limited were appointed to act as Principal Contractor to carry out extensive refurbishments to the communal areas of 3 student accommodation blocks in Southampton. Works were carried out to a very tight programme in order to accommodate students arriving back from Summer holidays.
Works include:
- Stripout of 24no. kitchens across 3 buildings including units, appliances, flooring, worktops, lighting and fixtures & furniture
- Stripout of flooring through staircases, corridors and other communal areas
- Replacement of doors
- Fire stopping works
- Electrical and lighting works
- Installation of new kitchens and appliances
- New flooring throughout communal areas and stairways
- Decoration throughout kitchens and all other communal areas
